An issue affecting certain Android users since April 21 wherein the app was being blocked from opening, has now been resolved. A fixed version of the app has now been published on the Play Store.
We kindly ask users of Android smartphones and tablets to update the app using the following steps:
■ How to update the app:
Open the "Play Store" app on your Android smartphone or tablet.
Search for "NJPW WORLD".
Press the "Update" button when the NJPW WORLD app appears.
This will update your app.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to the affected customers. We are committed to improving our testing and approval processes to prevent such issues in the future.

The cause of this issue is still being investigated, but it’s possible that depending on device resolution, the Android TV version of the app is automatically being downloaded by Google by mistake.
